Captain is a simple man. He loves good food, the relaxation of reading a good book during a thunderstorm, good times spent with his friends. One thing he has always been particularly passionate for is the art of storytelling. Whether it be through a novel, a movie, a game, or any other medium, he has always been fascinated by the way we pass on stories to one another. We share our knowledge, ideas, emotions, and so much more with each other through these means, and something that he has come to find is that the greatest stories are the ones that are made not by one person, but by people coming together to create it as one.

He’s just a simple nerd dad that spends his days with his kids running around or being climbed and nights with his loving wife watching shows or baking. He loves LOTR, anime and literature. He believes in Bigfoot and the only way to lure him out is invite him to a DnD session. Minmaxing is a valid way to play games as well as making a character for roleplay only. Give him a rainy day over sunny anytime and an ice cold soda over a coffee for breakfast.

Devin Stewart

Devin Stewart has been chasing adventure since he first picked up a Dungeons & Dragons character sheet at 11 years old. Now, after nearly three decades of rolling dice and telling stories, he brings a passion for immersive roleplay, unforgettable characters, and cinematic storytelling to every table. When he's not adventuring, Devin co-owns Dungeon Guild Printing, where he turns fantasy into reality by crafting professional cosplay, props, and tabletop creations. Whether he's talking his way into impossible situations or embracing the chaos of the dice, he believes the best D&D moments are the ones no one sees coming, and he's excited to share that journey with both his fellow players and the audience.

Eric is a US Army and 20 year ttrpg veteran with experience in both DMing and playing. Along with his talents to bring characters to life in-game, he's also dabbled in some minor acting include 3 years of Busch Garden's Howl-o-Scream and other minor roles on stage and screen.

Jivon Day Klarries

Jivon Day got into D&D a few years ago after her friend AJ suggested she give the game a try, walked her through the basics, and helped her build her very first character. That was all it took, she was hooked. Since then, she’s played in countless online and in‑person campaigns, exploring worlds, building characters, and falling deeper in love with roleplay. She joined Wild Gambit Media to connect with other players who are just as obsessed with the game as she is and to bring her passion for storytelling to every session.

Scott MacDonald

Scott MacDonald is a fiction writer and longtime tabletop player joining the cast of Shroud of Iadon. He is currently working toward publication of his first novel, Magic Junkies, an urban fantasy set in his childhood stomping grounds of Volusia County, Florida. He also writes short fiction that spans horror comedy, speculative fiction, dystopian fiction, and the occasional western, all of which can be found on his Substack. As a horror and fantasy writer, he builds characters the way he builds stories: a good hook, a buried secret, and no guarantee of a happy ending. He plays for the story, builds for the reveal, and has never met a character death he wasn't secretly proud of. By day he handles contracts for the defense technology industry, which means he has a knack for remembering obscure rules and interactions which he uses to terrorize Dungeon Masters far and wide. He lives with his wife, three teenagers, two dogs, and a cat that relentlessly swats at his legs from under the bed every damn night. Freakin cat...

Shane White

Shane White is an author, educator, and lifelong adventurer with a passion for blending imagination and the natural world. By day, he is a professor specializing in environmental storytelling, using tabletop roleplaying games, especially Dungeons & Dragons, as a vessel to inspire curiosity, empathy, and conservation.

As the creator of Might Be Mimics, Shane set out to build more than a gaming group. He wanted to create a community where collaborative storytelling could offer a consistent, welcoming space for the misfits, dreamers, and rogues who never quite fit the mold. As both player and Dungeon Master, he believes the best adventures are the ones everyone helps create.

Whether he’s disappearing into the mindset of a new character, handcrafting immersive terrain, writing fantastical worlds, or exploring the wilderness in search of his next story, Shane is always chasing new realms - both on this plane and in the imagined. Equal parts nature lover, worldbuilder, and unapologetic nerd, he’s happiest where the wild, the whimsical, and the wonderfully absurd collide.
